Spicy wonton soup turned out to be burnt heavily.
Lots of charred chilli on the soup which wasn't even edible.
Food is really good, large serving, ready fast. But I hope management is reading this since I have to say that you guys must play some music… It feels like a hospital waiting room in here. And take down all the passive aggressive notes like “please be nice to our sauce area”, “don’t pick up the vinegar by the top” etc
Their mistake caused me to wait for an hour without any compensation.
Not your ordinary Chinese takeout place. The best noodle shop in OC with both dry mix and soup noodle. We come here weekly for our noodle fix. Can't get enough!!
Food tastes ok, it wasn’t warm enough. It might be because of rush hours.
Do not go during lunch hours!!!! It was very busy, I waited almost 30 mins to get the food.
I've been eating here for years since I live right next to it. It's been my go-to place for lunch since it's nearby and the food is okay to good. I've seen their menu and clientele expand and I was happy for them.
Unfortunately, that's pretty much ended for me. I ordered some food through their app on my phone, and got there about ten minutes later. After watching a few larger orders go through/handed off a bit after five minutes later, I was told mine wasn't ready yet. No biggie, it's lunch and I'll wait. And wait I did.
Thing was, a couple diners ordered their food at the counter as I was asking the question, and I saw those orders get handed to diners before I went and asked again. He finally checked and found it in the window - I don't know how long it'd been sitting there.
By this time, it was past thirty minutes since I'd placed my order. I had been sitting in plain view of the counter the whole time. Other people I'd seen order in line picked up their food while I was waiting. When I pointed out how long I'd been waiting, the guy at the front got defensive and said there were a lot of orders, then changed his tune when I pointed out that I'd watched some of those orders be placed and then given out while I was still waiting. Something about how my dish in particular took long to make. No apology, nothing.
I had to switch my order to go because my quick eat-in turned into twenty minutes of waiting. And I won't eat there anymore. No amount of convenience is going to make up for that kind of service.
Their cold noodles are so delicious and big portion! Love it
UCI student here, been sleeping on this place. Great selection of soups, love the variety of ingredients. vegetarian options look great too. Guilin soup had a perfect balance of flavors. also try the matcha taro slush, 10/10.
Very large portion of noodles, best Mongolia beef! And great service. No picture for the Crispy Chinese Mo (sandwich with beef) as ate it too fast:p
Small store with indoor and outdoor seating on the bottom floor of an apt complex - food is good quality. Mapo tofu was excellent with good portion size, steamed dumplings were alright
The food was very good so was the service that atmosphere was OK😇
Saozi was decent and authentic, with radishes and tofu. Lamp Paomo was a major flop. It was WRONG! You don’t serve a piece of Chinese pita on the side for 泡馍,it needs to be stewed in the soup. What you are serving is not 羊肉泡馍 by any stretch of the definition. It is, seen in the best light possible, a 水盆羊肉 with the wrong bread.
Also everything was too salty and pig ear was not freshly made—tasted like something out of a pre made packet.
Overall disappointing.
