Very good food and so many options!!!

I have celiac disease and Prarie Donair staff are always accommodating ! It feels normal to eat out here ! They clean everything and are very knowledgeable! The staff are great ! Thanks !

Edmonton is a tough market for a new Donair shop as there's very little differentiating shops these days. In this case, unfortunately I don't think this place hits the mark for my palate. Service was amazing, very friendly people, but small portions for the price. Meat is middle of the road, all of it felt under seasoned. Had a Donair bowl and a chicken shawarma. Neither blew the wife and I away. The donair sauce seemed off, like the one you buy off the shelf at Safeway, that kind of translucent sauce. The chicken not much flavour which is a bad sign when it comes for shawarma. However I will give huge props for them having gluten free options and they do a very good job of being safe for celiacs. I was also really excited for "Donair Perogies". What a great idea. Sadly they were not well executed. Tasted like potatoes and too much onion, could hardly notice any donair. Expected a perogie stuffed with Donair meat, not mashed potatoes. With so much competition in the area, Classic and Basha particularly, something was needed here to set them apart and I didn't find it. Also, as a donair purist, 22 different sauces is not a plus. Honey dill Donair? No thanks.
