Poyoteca is a family business in every sense. We first opened its doors as Las Tinajas in 1970 in Lima, Peru with Dora Giordano at the helm. We're known for our signature mouth-watering chicken and welcoming environment. Over the years, Dora’s original concept has gone under many different names in different areas. Whether it’s Super Chicken in Virginia, Chicken Rico in Maryland, or District Rico in Washington, DC, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to bringing our abeulita Dora’s original vision and delicious recipes to hungry customers.
