Great food , but pricey for the quantity. Service is good.

My local Sobeys in London sells the Portions/Newtons brand and the chicken pot pies sell out almost immediately because they are SO GOOD. I even had one on Christmas Day this past year since I couldn't visit my family and friends--and the pie made me very happy. Yum yum!!! Total comfort food. When I visit my family in Guelph, I always pop into the store. I am so jealous that my mum lives in a city with the Portions storefront!

This is my Go-to place for allergy-free food products. I have shopped both in-person and online and have had an enjoyable experience each time. I highly recommend!

So I was in this afternoon and have been ruminating over what should have been a small mishap on our part. We were the family that accidentally spilled our 4 cookies that were purchased less then 5 seconds prior. We denied a bag as we had already purchased product that came in (recyclable) plastic. On our fault the top container that the cashier stacked slipped off and fell. On the floor where it opened up and broke. This is all just an excusable accident. What I cannot let go of if 1) the lack of anything that resembled help, care, or concern. 2) any sort of collaboration to make our negative experience better. The only words offered were "Oh no". I can only assume this was an end of the day absent minded over look to any sort of customer service skill / awareness that would have been basic human decency. I have no problem with spending what we did. But the down look and lack of any sort of communication is flabbergasting.

Very knowledgeable with dietary issues and to get top quality gluten free bake goods. Bread is fantastic.

Very friendly and a great selection of foods especially if you have allergies
