Every Popeyes I have ever gone to has been a terrible experience and this one is no exception. Wasted my lunch break getting this food, honestly.
The food is delicious if it's made right and made fresh. However, upon my visit I was told 2 mins for fries and to park elsewhere. 8 minutes later someone finally ran my food out to me. No drink. No sauces. 8 minutes and you still didn't get it right.
Manager sucks. Can't order sides cause they are always out of lids and containers to put them in
Went to grab lunch after a day of errands. I have a gluten sensitivity and tried the blackened tenders today. They were surprisingly good! We had to wait for the classic chicken to be made, but it was all fresh. There was a little confusion with our order but I was thankful the staff went over it to be sure we got what we needed.
Unrelated, I hate the physical location, getting in and out is not always easy but when you're craving Popeyes it's worth it!
Late night meal was pretty good
Dirry and flies everywhere on their chicken
Foods is always fresh , and delicious... I know the young adults that work there till closing hours , often quietly hand extra food to the homeless that's are near there
1) OMG - I know there is inflation, but the price hike was insane compared to the last time I went to a Popeyes. A side of popcorn shrimp plus a 5-piece strips meal was over $30.
2) The quality of the food was horrible. Even if this had been a $15 meal like it was not-all-that-long-ago, I would have been unhappy getting chicken that seemed to have been on the warmer-plate for a couple of hours based on texture.
3) Service was below expectations. No cocktail sauce with popcorn shrimp? Yeah, I admit that I forgot to ASK for it while ordering at the drive through. But it usually is asked by the staff - or just given even if not asked for. And see above about the quality of the chicken - which in this case appears to be a management problem and a customer service problem.
This was not a $30 worth of value meal. The price tag was a shock; the customer service sucked; and the food obviously had been sitting out for God-only-knows-how-long.
I know a decent portion of the price hike is Gavin Newsom's fault. But regardless of the justification, when you are charging that much for fast food, you better have your customer service together. At least give me fresh food and the dipping sauce.
Even though this is around the corner from my office, I will not be back here anytime soon. There are a **LOT** of other options that are nearby that are cheaper by 50% for a comparable size order with better customer service and quality food. I was just craving chicken and shrimp and hadn't done Popeyes in several months. Maybe at other locations when I am on the road, but THIS place is stricken from consideration for when I want to grab a quick bite while I am at the office.
Two times I came here 30 minutes to close and they say 'we have no chicken sandwiches'. Why are you even open, if you can't make food? Garbage.
