POP

We came here recently for a drag brunch and had an amazing time! The queens were fantastic and the space was great. The food menu was a little more limited than expected, but all of the food we had was delicious (I personally recommend the California Girl Avocado Toast) The drinks were strong and delicious as well, no complaints and will definitely be going back!

Food: smaller options at reasonable prices. I’ve liked everything I’ve tried. Since the rest of the place is CLEAN, presumably prepared with care in an equally clean kitchen. Service: Tops. Excellent service and I’ve watched them train new staff to ensure consistency. I’ve never had one staff member give a considerably different level of service compared to anybody else. Friendly. Atmosphere: bright, airy, smells clean and new. Nicely appointed. My highest recommendation. I’ve always felt comfortable going here whether by myself or others..

Food taste like poison

My partner and I mistook last Friday for TGIF, but we were glad we did. The atmosphere was bright, cheery and POPped!!! We met Mike the Bartender and had him customized a grapefruit margarita, and boy did he WOW!!! The food was Great because I have an allergy and I was able to have my fill of food. Our pizza was customized so I was able to eat it. Everything was GREAT!!! We are coming back again for our favs this week!!! Vegetarian options: There are non meat options, especially for breakfast. Dietary restrictions: I was able to have their food even though I have an allergy, which says a lot.

I’ve been here a few times and it’s been fun. The bartenders have been friendly and nice and the drinks aren’t crazy expensive and they’re made well. The frozen slushee drinks are really good. I also like the TVs with the music videos playing and the music isn’t super loud so you can actually have a conversation and not have to shout to have a conversation. I think this is what Milwaukee needs :)

Food is over priced, ordered Wisconsin cheese head that states theres cheese curds. Didnt have them. Bartender comes to get the plate and says i can tell they were good (well we ate them all bcus we were hungry) and we said yeah but we thought it was going to be actual cheese curds. Hes like yeah they were on top. I said no they weren't….it was fries with additional sauce that i was charged for and didnt ask for. He said yes they were there i promise you. Then i said no there really werent any, he seemed bothered and said okay, and was about to walk away and realized im the customer and decided to say sorry. I dont think ill be back.

What an upgrade! Obviously before POP took over this building it was looking rough. The previous owner had closed due to a fire but was a bbq place with a completely different vibe. I was so impressed with the gorgeous interior, it looks so fresh and so clean. It’s got a great balance of color to the white interior. I didn’t have the same experience as another reviewer did with the music being too loud but I did go earlier in the evening. I love that they have music videos playing in the background which I feel like not a lot of places do anymore. I could just be getting old… I had a giant slushy because I needed the full experience. The staff was great and didn’t have any wait time issues despite having a lot of people at the bar. I briefly talked to one of the owners who was incredibly nice. Unfortunately I only took one sad fish bowl slushy photo, boo me. I will be back though!

Unique experience!! Went there for Sunday brunch, it was fun and bright with some good music and friendly staff.
