I ordered a chicken parmigiana sub and let’s just say…… never again. The worst sub I’ve eaten in awhile.
Ordered a “large” cheeseburger calzone. Cost nearly $30 and was rather small to be called a large. Also it was only served with one 2oz sauce. Was very greasy and overall not good.
Delicious pizza! Crust is light and chewy with the right amount of crispiness. Cheese and sauce are flavorful. Great for take-out, not for dining in.
The pizza is great. The crust is unbeatable; it's soft but crunchy. The bottom is perfect, not overcooked. Call in ahead of time and pick up on the way home. Add a salad, and dinner is served. Vegetarian options: Any veggies except turnip and beets. Which is perfect with me. Dietary restrictions: None. I just like to eat veggies. Parking: It's in a plaza plenty of free parking in the lot. Kid-friendliness: We'll get fries and chicken fingers or wings. Comes with chocolate milk, strawberry, or vanilla. And fries. Wheelchair accessibility: The door on the side in Summitt Street plaza is the wheelchair entrance.
The pizza is amazing, shrimp scampi pizza is amazing, the new owner puts a lot of fresh and good quality products in the pizza.... bravo !!
This place use to be my go-to but they have gone down hill. Ordered the chicken/onion/roasted pepper calzone a few months ago and it was ALL cheese with a garnish of the main ingredients. It was basically cheesy bread. I was hoping it was a one off but ordered pizza and a chicken parm calzone this weekend and again, the calzone was ALL cheese. Maybe 3 small pieces of diced chicken. Won't be making that mistake again.
The pizza has gone downhill, skimpy on ingredients and overpowering garlic, disappointed
Ordered a meatball sub to go which is the only way you can order, no dining inside as far as I can see. Was ok. New owner, seems like a nice person. The old owner was a great chef before he opened Plum Tomatoes so I was a little nervous. Seems like the whole crew he had left when he sold. Little bit of a language barrier with new workers. Hopefully they do well.
