Small portions for the price

Service was good, but the food is only ok. Tried the beef/lamb gyro, falafel, and dolmades.

Went here for the first time finally and got the plaka gyro. It was solid and the meat portion was good. Only critique is the meat is too salty. If there was more salad/tzatziki it would’ve balanced the saltiness out.

Their zucchini fritters are incredible!

Traveling out of town from Cincinnati, Ohio, and the front counter server made me feel like I was at home! Best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long, long time.

My reason for 3 stars is that Plaka charges you $2.50 1.5oz. small amount tzaki sauce. Be prepared for this nickle and dime pandemic. Just like the airlines, you buy ticket to get on the plane, then pay $30 to have the middle seat assigned. Never been to a Greek restaurant and had pay extra for tzaki sauce when ordering a gyro platter. I do not recommend it AS a good place for your money.

Great food, great service and cool atmosphere. Think of it as a chick-fil-a that serves Greek food. We ordered the Spanakopita, Chicago gyro and Loukaniko and all were fabulous. They deliver your order to your table and it comes out in waves. First came the spanakopita, which is perfect for 2 people because there are two on the plate. If you make your order a meal you get fries and a drink. Fries are delicious but if you're a light eater I recommend just ordering one for two people because they bring the fry basket to your table and it's a lot of fries. A few minutes later the main course is delivered. If you're looking to try something new, give them a shot. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This is a very good place to sit and relax with a very delicious Greek food, especially if you look gyro. You can get a bowl with a combination of vegetables and meat, and may add various sause such as hummus. No waiting, the staff is quick and helpful. If the weather permits, sit outside, and enjoy the sunshine. Parking is available.

The food was great. The service was great. Nice atmosphere. I tried their lamb souvlaki and it was realllyyy great. just one minor issue, maybe wipe down the tables outside a bit more often!? we went to sit outside and all the tables needed cleaning.

Great plaka salad! Fresh onions, olives and tomatoes and loved their cubed feta vs the typical feta crumbles you find elsewhere. The fries are well seasoned; my only dislike was that they packed my fries and salad in the same togo box, so they were slightly sweaty when I opened the box, but I still enjoyed them.
