Good place to eat

That chopped brisket sandwich is DIFFERENT! So good, make you wanna smack your mama. No lies! DANG it was so good. Will be back.

Service was excellent. We ordered the smothered pork chops and the cat fish. Very large portion of food. Definitely will come back. If I had to give a ding it would be the lemonade. It was freshly squeezed but it was very sweet. That's the only thing I can say bad. Again, Definitely coming back.

This place was amazing!! Customer service was amazing, food is amazing and fresh. I ordered the catfish plate and it was crispy but melted in your mouth. The greens were great, the yam were perfectly sweet. I would highly recommend and will be back!

I wanted fried fish came here great decision. Fish was seasoned and fried just right!

TL;DR: PLEASE do yourself a favor, and stop on by! Good food. Good staff. Good times. Keep on cooking guys! I'll be back for sure. Most days, I would never step into a restaurant without any research on quality or service. My stomach rumbled as I neared my home and I have never ventured into this corner of Spring Creek and Alma for anything other than a dental visit. I looked at the lot of establishments I could pick and choose, but something about PK's Smokehouse spoke to me. I parked and ventured into the establishment and noticed a very chill and laid-back atmosphere. There were people posted up and watching a movie on the big screen; it was quiet enough for everyone to hear it. This reminded me of Fred's Downtown Philly over on Custer and 15th. I asked the man working the register what he recommended and responded with, "How hungry are you?" to which I smirked and said, "I could eat." Love it. Before handing me my food, the gentleman showed me my meal and how good it looked. I ordered fried chicken with okra and fries. While the fries were nothing to write back to mama about, the rest was out of this world good. The food was still steaming hot by the time I got home and I didn't hesitate as the smells given by my food was winning the war on hunger in my mind/stomach. The chicken was crispy but ever-so juicy. I recommend this with a dash of hot sauce to make a chorus of flavors sing. The okra melted in my mouth and I was in flavor country. It was crispy, but the okra was cooked to perfection. All the rich flavors here only made me sad when I found out that this establishment has been open for multiple years. To think of all the missed meals, smh. Stop on by, I guarantee you wont regret it!

I won’t lie, my pride is a little hurt. I thought I made amazing fried chicken but this place has me beat! This is probably the best chicken I’ve had in years. Seasoned to perfection, juicy and not overly breaded. After I finished cleaning the bones I moved onto the Mac and cheese and greens. I know better than to tell my mom someone beat her cooking but… this place for the win. The dressing on Sundays is holiday worthy. This is an Allen gem. Im hooked.
