The owner and cook were friendly, but our food was mediocre. They have a rodent issue as there was a tray of half eaten candy and mouse droppings on the counter where you order food. Porta potty behind the building.

Chef Julio & the Pilar Yacht Club is the best! Driving from Taos to Santa Fe, we came upon this oasis of great food and warm hospitality in Pilar NM Delicious! Chile Rellenos to die for, overstuffed tamales, and Peanut the Tortilla Hound. You might just speed on past this funky little joint but, that'd be a mistake. Great homey food & service, "Food Wars, Order Up," painting on door, canyon views - eat on the porch surrounded by hummingbirds and take a break from the road here. If you're looking for a memorable meal, get those tamales! Warmth and hospitality in spades.

Such amazing food! The staff is super friendly and I really enjoyed the experience! Highly recommended.

I stopped here for lunch. The conversation was as good as the burrito. Definitely give it a try. Sitting out front and eating in the fall sunlight was a beautiful experience.
