We had a Grrrrrreat time at the Gulf Shores Picnic Beach Grill-Bar today. Loved the Nashville-Texas through North-Eastern (Mass) really well played, funky-style country music, by Justin Colvard. From Stevie Ray's "Proud and Joy" to Wild Cherry's "Play That Funky Music". Wow. And what a voice ! We started to hear singing & 2 guitars pkaying on the beachside of Gulf Shores, once the Mardi Gras Parade was over. Thanks to the staff & manager for the Gooood food & drinks & the Goooood time. Pierre & Lyne from Montréal, QC Parking: We could even leave our bikes safely parked in the parking space under the bar.

Fun and attractive environment. I got the vegan. It's a bowel that is supposed to be like poke. I guess I was expecting something fresher with lots more veggies (less tofu would have been OK too). Something maybe with greens as a base option (not rice with oil mixed in) with more raw (or just picked) items. What I got felt greasy. I'm sure other people who eat out a lot won't mind. But, for me, I eat plants because they are healthy and because I like them. I like their texture, crunch, and taste. I'm sure the bowl is good, just not my preference.
