The people at the shop were very friendly! I purchased a container of homemade kimchi and the owner was kind enough to explain how the kimchi was made and how several different types of kimchi have their unique flavors. The kimchi I bought tastes sweet but spicy, which I love. I also ordered a mango boba drink. The mango flavor was prominent, and it had the perfect amount of sweetness. It also came with whipped cream, which made it taste even better. I will definitely return to try their pho. Overall, it was a great place with excellent service.
Was passing through the city and happen to find this random hole in the wall pho spot and it didn't disappoint. The owner was very welcoming and the pho was delicious. The pho broth was not overly salty or sweet. The home made meatballs and tender cuts of beef definitely was a plus. Very authentic Vietnamese taste and would go back again for the pho.
Very wonderful food and AWESOME service. I've never met anyone so kind, the owner makes you feel welcomed. The great food makes it even better ❤️
Upon placing our first order we were met with a ton of love and respect. She offered to sit us down in her dining room and the atmosphere was movie like. The food was great and she sat down and ralked with us for a little. I most definitely reccomend for dates and outings.
Great pho. Wonderful people.
Such a lovely experience, tucked away in the back corner of this farmers market. Excellent service and food. The perfect stop on a day of long driving. The woman running the shop seemed delighted that we discovered her so we wanted to add to her visibility here.
My wife and I took an impromptu trip to the market on a Thursday morning and went down what we thought was an empty hallway. Boy, were we wrong! We saw a few twinkle lights and then were greeted by the warmest, friendliest woman I have had the pleasure of meeting in years. She offered to make me anything I wanted, fresh, so I asked about a Banh Mi to go. She politely escorted us to a heated, small, but cozy, area with a table and placemats while we waited. It didn't take long, maybe 5 minutes, and then she had me come back out and pay for the food. My sandwich (which was meant to be dinner for later) smelled so delicious that I could not resist digging into it as soon as I got back in my vehicle. Absolutely amazing food made by someone that just oozes kindness and compassion. This sandwich was made with love, and made my heart warm. I will be coming back and making trips specifically for this food. I am so impressed.
A very cozy and authentic feel, in the heart of Soulard Market. Seating is limited to 6 people but that's how you share a dining experience. The Pho was quite tasty and the bo vien (meatballs) was home made.
