Pepper Lunch

1st timer and it was delicious!

If you want to try the best fried rice you have to come here. This rice will make you want to go to your nearest convenience store and buy a 6-pack of Coca Cola and a bag of roasted peanuts and enjoy it with season 2 of Friends. They have the fastest service time, you’ll get your food faster than you can say “McChicken”

I am a huge fan. Their menu has good variety- covers everything from meat to seafood to veggies. Their prices are reasonable and portions are great too. Their staff are always super sweet, quick, and helpful. My recommendations are the salmon pepper rice, teriyaki salmon, and chicken karaage with sizzling curry. The strawberry dragonfruit drink is my absolute fave too!!

I have been seeing posts about Pepper Lunch on my social media feed for some time now. It is located in Diamond Jamboree Plaza, next to the Kickin' Crab. Although it was my first time there, the place felt welcoming and familiar. The restaurant is small compared to others in the area, but it's perfect for a quick lunch. At Pepper Lunch, customers order their food at the counter and the staff bring it out to their table. Since it was my first time, I ordered their most popular item, the Classic Beef Pepper Rice. It came out on a hot skillet with a paper ring around the plate to prevent any oil splatters. At first, the food was a bit underwhelming, but the condiments added more flavor. I was expecting a Korean Bulgogi flavor, but that's just my personal bias. The service was great, and the workers explained each menu item with enthusiasm. They even tried to upsell me on their promotional items, but I kindly declined since I had my heart set on the Classic Beef Pepper Rice. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely go back in the near future. Parking: Diamond Jamboree is NOTORIOUS for having little to no parking spaces. If you have time to spare, remember there is a parking garage behind the plaza.

I ordered combo deluxe and the chicken is a lot better than steak. I like it and the fried onion rings are good too. Nice flavors.

Phenomenal restaurant, great taste and nice environment. I excluded one star because even with the fact that I’m 20 years old and I weigh 140lbs, I think their portions are a little small. Other than that it’s a solid restaurant.
