Disgraceful experience! We ordered salt and pepper chips/salt and pepper chicken and they gave us 2 portions of salt and pepper chips. Got all the way home and phoned them to ask for it again. Gave my girlfriend her food and took mine back but when I returned the salt and pepper chips the woman at the desk wanted photo proof that I didn’t have the chicken at home! I explained to her why would I drive all the way home and back to steal some chicken! She still wanted proof - I informed her that this is pathetic and tried to phone my girlfriend but she wasn’t answering the phone. The 2 women in the kitchen came out and understood and said let’s knock money off and give him the food but she still insisted she wanted a photo! The woman at the desk then came out from the desk got in my personal space saying ‘don’t get violent with me’ I said I’m not getting violent with you but if you’re going to treat me and speak to me like this I am going to be frustrated and angry with your customer service! Eventually she gave me my food I paid for that she FORGOT to put in the bag and accused me of stealing it! Never going back. The food was vile too, just like the person behind the counters personality.
Best Chinese in Yorkshire that I have ever experienced. It was packed out, service was swift and I imagine many were returning. I also have to be in the mood for a Chinese and am hard to please. I will definitely be back!
We have used Pearl Dragon regularly and the food has been very good , recently the quality seems to have slipped a bit , tonight we got meals from there and it was very poor , the fried rice instead of been light + fluffy was instead just one big sticky lump , i phoned to complain and was put on to " the boss" who came on the phone to more or less tell me I didn't know what I was talking about and that's how it should be !! .I can make fried rice better myself !, no apology to say sorry we will try put it right for next time , that's a customer that won't be going back ,not that it sounds like they were bothered ,shame because it had gone down the nick and they had built it up again , maybe the good chef has left
