I wish I could rate this higher than five stars! The food was stellar (get the eggs Benedict with the lump crab meat!)! Ramon behind the bar was an absolute gem! We didn’t have reservations but were able to find seats at the bar. I would recommend (and will do this the next time I plan to go) making reservations as it gets quite busy- there was about an hour long wait for the entire time we were there. We will DEFINITELY be back!
Very nice food, excellent service, friendly staff. We had a really good time!
As soon as you enter the Peacock Cafe, you are treated like family. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. In addition to the wonderful service, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. I had a prix fixe meal which included a pistacchio soup, steak frites, and a berries with sorbet for dessert. All were tasty with impressive presentation. Great restaurant for dining while in the Georgetown area.
Pretty nice and low key brunch place. Good was all solid. Burger had a little too much gorgonzola which made it satly.
Food was oversalted even when asked to go easy, but service was very correct
The Peacock Cafe is a gem. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and lively energy vibe. The warm stuffed grape leaves and beet salad were fresh and delicious. The grouper encrusted with pistachio served over a generous bed of spinach and surrounded by a subtle sweet sauce laced with cherries was pure bliss. They also have great burgers and the chocolate volcano cake was divine and beautifully presented with ice cream, strawberries, creme and mint leaves. The service is superb and the dining room manager went above and beyond. Prices are reasonable. We will be back!
