Peacemaker Lobster & Crab

Outstanding po boys. The lobster bisque was watery and very sparing on pieces of lobster meat. Nice cocktails, cool vibe. What's baffling is that they have a reputation for a quality lobster bisque but that was easily the least impressive bisque I've ever had.

Best Seafood Restaurant in St.Louis

Service and food are pretty great here. Server was very attentive and food/drink came out promptly. Connecticut lobster roll was a bit burnt on the outside of the bun and could have used a little more butter on it. One thing I am extremely unhappy with is the automatic 20% gratuity added on the bill for parties of 5 or more without the restaurant or server letting the table know. I understand this is legal, but find it very shady when restaurants do this. I typically tip 20% or more on bills at restaurants, but feel deceived whenever I get this added on at restaurants without notice.

The prices are insane and the food was mediocre at best. I ordered Oysters they were great, well they were raw. I also ordered a shrimp boil...hmmmm nothing about the meal plated to me was anything boiled. So I looked at the menu again as I thought maybe I read it wrong and it said broiled...but nope it certainly said "Boiled"! It came with potatoes, andoullie sausage, and brussel sprouts. So they "broiled" until crispy some of each item and blacked the others. The shrimp was not devein'd, and they cooked it sooo much that once I was done peeling them I had a pile of shrimp pieces they were cooked to death, again! Server was great. I feel deceived...

They have the best lobster rolls in St. Louis area. Definitely should order, Maine and/or Connecticut lobster rolls, lobster steamed buns and oysters on half shell. This place has great vibe and service. It is usually packed on weekends, reservation is recommended.

The service, drinks, and food are all top notch here. From the hosts, especially the very congenial, attentive and seemingly, legitimately staff always trying to accommodate everyone's needs.. From top to bottom. They're always doing their best to make everyone have a great experience, and you're met with that at the door. Even without a reservation. Amanda made sure we had a place. The entire staff made sure we would have a great night. It was above and beyond. The entire staff are stellar. And if you appreciate good seafood.. Go there.
