This rice dish gets its name from the flat griddle (tawa) on which it is traditionally prepared. At Spice Street, we begin with an aromatic basmati rice, mix in a variety of vegetables and sauté them with spices like turmeric, cumin, coriander, garam masala, and our own special pulav masala mix.
