We were drawn to this bakery by the various desserts and had to try some of the pastries. There were so many pastries to choose from, but we settled on the Strawberry Frasier Cake and Almond Croissant. We took the pastries to Ralph's Coffee to eat. My friend didn't enjoy the cake as much, so I devoured it. I can't really tell if I did that because I enjoyed it or because I didn't want to waste it. The almond croissant, although looked a little stale, actually tasted pretty good. We didn't have much interaction with staff, although one woman greeted us as we walked in. The person who helped us seemed a little bothered by our presence and not friendly at all. I may return if I come to Tyson's Galleria.
iced latte & chocolate eclair
Tasteless coffee an Americano But the apple based croissant was ok. The tomato mozzarella panini, was really simple. I don’t rate it as a European style cafe
Located in a great area atmosphere is nice lots of chairs to sit and have a cup of coffee. Food options are good I tried the vegan avocado croissants sandwich which was good but it was missing the cucumber and the spinach. Almond croissant was amazing. Would come again.
Great breakfast options: we tried the quiche, croque madame, and the egg-cheese croissant. The cappuccino was good too. The staff were friendly and attentive. I was so glad we decided to stop here for breakfast, would definitely recommend.
2 pastries and 2 drinks was almost 40 dollars. I just don’t think its worth it.
Food is amazing. Staff is vile rude. In addition to myself, witnessed several customers receive the same wicked attitude including one customer who clearly did not speak fluent English. Do better.
I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to Paul’s on 13th & K St. On March 20th, at 12:27 PM, I placed an order online. After waiting for 25 minutes without any update, I approached the cashier to inquire about my order. Unfortunately, instead of addressing my concerns, the cashier seemed dismissive and uncommunicative. Despite requesting my name, she walked away without providing any information or reassurance. To add to my dissatisfaction, although I ordered an iced latte with whipped cream, the drink I received was missing the whipped cream, despite being charged for it. Additionally, the overall handling of the order was rushed and careless, as everything was hastily thrown into a bag and handed to me at 12:53 PM. As a customer, I expect a certain level of service and attention to detail, especially considering the price I paid, which amounted to almost $40 for breakfast. It was disheartening to feel overlooked and to be treated as if I were inconveniencing the staff by simply seeking information about my order. I believe in the quality of this establishment and have always enjoyed dining at Paul’s, but this experience has left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I hope management will take my feedback into consideration and address the issues to ensure that other customers do not encounter similar experiences in the future.
If you like Coffee and pastries, this is one of many locations you can stop by and relax. Coffee / late I had was good size and dinning in you are served with a nice mug. Also had almond chocolate croissant and Danish Cheese Croissant. Both were great!!!
