I am Mexican and vegan. For YEARS I thought I could only make my favorite treats at home and not be able to buy them in the Seattle-Tacoma metropolitan region. But lo and behold, I stumbled across this exceptional, authentic, DELICIOUS bakery. They have conchas, tres leches cake, all different kinds of cakes, cookies, all kinds of pastries. 5/5 HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND thank you for making this Mexicanita in the Seattle/Tacoma region VERY HAPPY for existing! This bakery is one of my favorite places to visit in Tacoma. They have so many vegan options of both Mexican and European desserts and pastries. Everything I’ve had was a hit and my non vegan friends have loved everything I’ve shared from here as well! Don’t miss the churros - they are fresh and warm and so so good. The folks here are so kind too. We’ll keep coming back to try everything!

Great gem. Worth the drive, make a day of it! My favorite item was the vegan tres leches cake! On a vegan diet, I never thought I could enjoy tres leches again. Wow, was it perfect! I was beside myself with excitement. We really liked the coffee mousse rollups a.k.a "cream horns". We enjoyed the bavarian creme turnovers- I would love to see a cherry turnover someday. I asked the counter person to please consider some hazelnut options! Some of the puff pastry deserts were just a touch dry, so I hope they can improve upon on that. Another idea is that I wish he would try some eastern european cake styles- they have the best elaborate cakes, I wonder if Angel could veganize them! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This bakery is a hidden gem in Tacoma. Ive been coming here for years for their Vegan and Gluten free baked good Best vegan baked goods in the area (the vegan tres leches is so damn good!!)! I recently tried their regular baked good and OMG. I got a tres leches cake for my friends birthday. It was not too sweet, light, and super moist! Everyone who took a bite said omg lol If you havent been, you're missing out. Bonus points for being a local small business

Ordered a vegan, gluten free, German Chocolate birthday cake and it was wonderful. The bakery has lots of other vegan/gluten free pastries to choose from along with regular baked yummy treats.

Amazing bakery with lots of vegan options. Favorites are the Bavarian creme pastries and blueberry pastries.
