Parklane Tavern does not disappoint. Placed a to go order over the phone and food was ready upon my arrival (about 15 minutes). The place was packed and I had to park in the movie theater parking lot. We ordered the Bavarian pretzels. They came with a side of Guinness mustard and cheese dip. Very tasty! We also ordered the Quattro formaggio pizza topped with bacon. My son said it was great. Also had an order of Boddington fish and chips. The fish was still crispy by the time we got home. Loved it! I have also tried the salmon beurre blanc.. OMG.. so flavorful! You can’t go wrong with any of these offerings.
As I am of Irish/German descent I have been always been on the lookout for establishments that have Northern European fare and I am overjoyed that this establishment was suggested to me. Park Lane Tavern has a quaint atmosphere with food that I grew up with. On this particular stay I had their Calamari as an appetizer. Usually, they either come in little rings or tentacles but at Park Lane Tavern I would call them Calamari Fries since they were generous strips that held the marinara or sweet chili sauce that was served with them. As the main course I got the Monte Cristo sandwich which usually is served on French toast this particular sandwich was enrobed in an almost funnel cake batter. It was so good and filling!! As for our wait staff we were served by Alexis and she was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning!
Great food, atmosphere and prices. Staff were super friendly as well.
Park Lane never disappoints! Always great food, drinks, and service. LOVE the Tuesday Fish n Chips special as well as their great happy hour!
