Wish this was a better experience as someone who loves beer and animals. Immediately after we ordered, there was an emaciated cat that approached us and cried non-stop for food. The bartender rolled her eyes and said they got this cat to solve their rodent problem, but didn't anticipate it being so friendly and reluctant to 'work'. So they essentially starve it in hopes it will help with the rats. Feel free to google it (seems obvious they didn't): rats are the last resort for most cats to eat. Especially if there's a chance the rats have ingested any of the poison in the many bait stations set around here. It's a fair problem for a brewery to have an infestation - just never expected to see it handled so inhumanely in Los Angeles.
First stop of my small brewery crawl for my bday Location is so sick Old plane hanger Kinda small because it was raining but that didn’t stop us, we made the most of it and the burger truck
Really cool place, chill vibe, great selection of beers and tasty food.
Best brewery in LA, maybe even Southern California! Bold statement? Perhaps. But their resident burger truck is makes incredible food, the beer is great and the overall feng shui is dynamite!
The beer itself was good, and I do appreciate the overall aesthetic of the building. The customer service, however, was nonexistent. As soon as we walked up, we greeted them hello and they just stared at us, waiting for us to order and didn’t give us any greeting whatsoever. Then they disregarded us as soon as we paid. Also, the tables upstairs had no customers but were not bussed. For a place that is supposed to be conducive to having a good time, the customer service did quite the opposite.
A brewery that’s a bit off the beaten path and totally worth checking out. Street parking only but we found a spot easily on a Saturday around 5pm. The whole setup is great with indoor and outdoor seating options. The food truck outside had great smash burgers and various loaded fries. The flights of beer are a lot of fun because of the library theme. I love that they have so many hazy IPAs! Really enjoyed this spot and look forward to going back!
I have had their brews many times in cans with all kinds of crazy sci-fi and comic labels. First visit to the brewery. An interesting and comfortable place. Friendly staff and good beer.
