Papa Joe's Wine Cellar

Papa Joe's Wine Cellar was started by the Talarico family in Zelienople in 2013. We operated as an Italian restaurant and winery in Lawrenceville from 2017 to 2023, and moved back to Zelienople in November 2024. We make our own wine; our reds are all dry and made from California grapes. Our whites are also dry and are made from California and Italian juices. For those who prefer sweet wine, we offer wine spritzers and wine slush. We also serve beer from local brewers. Papa Joe, il Capo Vinaio Emerito, and Katie, la Capa Vinaia make all of our wines. Beth Talarico continues to make wine with us part time and Grandma Deb manages our charitable outreach. We are a primarily women-owned family business.
