Panera Bread

Arrive for a pickup, sit down in area. People was in the drive through left before me and then I finally got my order. They are slow and I’m actually working as well so they don’t prioritize online orders really

Drove over 20 minutes to get here for a bread bowl and they were out. Then sat at the window for several minutes before then being acknowledged

This Panera was inviting as soon as you walk in. It smelled clean and the temperature was comfortable. The next thing you notice is how the pastries were displayed! It made you want to stop and choose one. When the food came out you could see the steam from the soup and you knew that it was the perfect temperature on a cold day. Very pleasant experience all around!!

I am traveling through. I stopped here to get two coffees and a couple pastries. This place opens at 6:30 AM. I came in at around 8:15 AM. They had nothing set up no half-and-half or milk or anything for the coffee and everybody’s walking around like zombies no sense of urgency, I stood five minutes or more at the counter, waiting for someone to come up. I want to purchase the toothpaste and ask him for the half-and-half for the coffee. No one showed up. I went over to the prep area and asked someone if I could be helped at the front counter. The lady said that the woman should be up there shortly. I went back up to the front and waited a couple more minutes before a lady came out to fill the coffee station with two cans that was not there before. I asked her for half and half and she said I will get that for you. I walked up to the counter where she proceeded to help other customers who was waiting to order and totally ignored me. She then disappeared to the back. After a couple more minutes I walked back to the food prep and asked to speak with the manager. We was apologetic and got the milk product himself. I finished making the coffees and gave up on ordering any food. I can spend my money elsewhere and that is what I told the manager. He offered to give me the pastries, but I told him it’s too late for that. I spent over 20 minutes in the store, trying to get two coffees and pastries that I never got. The store has been open for two hours, and they still didn’t have their stuff set up. The employees walk around with no sense of urgency. I have been to a lot of Panera Breads and this is by far the worst I’ve ever been to. There’s just no excuse.
