A Lovely Place to eat in town. Food is always spot on, usually order a breakfast when we visit which we really enjoy. Owner is lovely, friendly & always out the front so it’s nice to be able to have a chit chat.

Just want to say how much our group ( front table) enjoyed our evenings entertainment for the Boy George/Pink Elvis night. A first visit for many of us... we thoroughly enjoyed the tribute act.. from make up.. clothes..voice.. sharp wit and sheer professionalism. We were up and dancing from the word go.. even doing the boy George conga outside onto the bricks of Newcastle Town!!! May I also say how lovely the home cooked food was... the ambience and hard work to provide a seamless nights enjoyment.... Oscars is a unique establishment.. much more personable..nothing like the cattle market venues that serve poor quality food on mass...over inflated bar prices and naff disco. Probably one of the best Christmas parties I've had the pleasure to attend in over 30 years! Thank you Oscars!! We'll be back in a few months. Xxx Vegetarian options: Catered for. Absolutely first class in every way...... Bacon and cheese oatcakes are perfect and their club sandwich is the best ever. Staff are brilliant and friendly. Cannot fault this place... Thank you so much .
