On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina - Mall of Georgia

We had a great last supper at on the border. Little did we know they were shutting down today

Amazing food and service, Perla was super friendly and helpful to us and I loved how she didn’t exclude our 9 year old from the conversation.

We were greeted and immediately sat on a Friday night when all of the other restaurants in the area (Mall of GA) were on a significant wait. It became apparent why there was no wait once our food was brought out to us. The fresh guacamole was the best thing we ate. The other dishes were very lacking, including my sons fries. We were halfway through our meals before I realized that they even had a full bar (absolutely no one was sitting at the bar). I'm not sure how this establishment is surviving, considering they had more staff on duty than customers. Unless there is a drastic change, we will not be going back.

The staff were really friendly and nice but the food was awful. I ordered 2 enchiladas and were miniscule. It was probably as wide as my ring finger's nail. The tortillas were stale and the salsa verde was super overpowering. The "guacamole" was just mushy avocado.

Great service by Ashley. We always love coming and having her a server. We ask for her every time. She's AMAZING!!!!!!

Bathroom experience stank to the higher heaven. Looks like the urinal has not been properly cleaned in a good while. I almost left the place, many say if the bathroom is not right then other places in the building follow. The food was decent but service lacked. Slow service was hard to understand because the place was deserted. The food took an extraordinarily long time to come out of the kitchen.

I used to love coming here and enjoying food and drinks. The server was okay, and the food could have been better. The restaurant was not clean. The table was nasty, and the place was not busy.
