The first Ollie's restaurant opened in 1989 with the goal of bringing cuisine from Chinatown up to the Upper West Side. It wasn't long before the concept was proven; soon hundreds of hungry Columbia students would fill the restaurant everyday in between classes. Ever since then, Ollie's has left its mark throughout Manhattan. Ollie's To Go UES is the first extension of Ollie's to the east side of the city. While we have felt right at home serving our customers on the west side for almost 30 years, it was time to branch out and offer the residents of the Upper East Side a higher standard for Chinese food. Expect the same delicious offerings at our other locations, with the addition of a sushi bar as well.
