The first Ollie's restaurant opened in 1989 with the goal of bringing cuisine from Chinatown up to the Upper West Side. It wasn't long before the concept was proven; soon hundreds of hungry Columbia students would fill the restaurant everyday in between classes. Ever since then, Ollie's has left its mark throughout Manhattan. 26 years later, the mission is still the same: to serve authentic, quality Chinese food at an affordable price. Specializing in cuisine from the Sichuan province in Western China, Ollie's Sichuan offers a taste of the region's bold flavors, defined by the use of spicy chilis and peppercorns. Of course, the menu also features all of the favorites that customers have come to know and love at other Ollie's locations.
