It's a scray bad experience I had... 😵
hi , i was there today and i ordered two chicken shishtawok and the food was ok but , my son ate one chicken and he found plastic inside the chicken so we standed up and left ,
As the kids say, the food “smacks” and the jams “slap”.
Foodwise - more like a 4.65 establishment. The shawarma, falafel, garlic sauce, fattoush and hummus were very good. I got the mixed shawarma plate and subbed hummus.
Don’t judge a shawarma place by it non AC, nor by its DoorDash delivery success rate, judge it by its garlic sauce. And for that reason it tilts to 5 stars.
I ordered earlier today and found a hard piece of plastic in my pita bread and it cut my mouth. I called the restaurant to inform them about this and the employee was extremely nonchalant and stated they hardly use plastic in their restaurant. I’ve been asked for a manager, and he stated the manager was not on site, so I asked for the managers name, and when he will be back in, but he stated he doesn’t give out names.
Ordered a chicken shawarma wrap to be delivered. Received a wrap of vegetables and French Fries instead of chicken. Kept taking bites expecting the protein to present itself. There was no chicken whatsoever. Will not intentionally order from or go to this establishment again. Clear abuse of a delivery order.
The most DELICIOUS Kibbeh everrrr. They taste like my great grandmas. Always delicious. Always fresh. I highly recommend!
A very similar restaurant to Zankou Chicken. Since there isn't a Zankou restaurant in the area, this is a great alternative!
I had almost given up on frequenting this restaurant because of the employee turn over rate, and lack of customer service in recent years, but I’m glad I gave it another chance today. Chad and Fadi provided excellent customer service, were ultra friendly, and as if that weren’t enough, my chicken shawarma wrap was probably the best I’ve had to date in Orange County! Thank you so much Chad and Fadi, my family, and I will keep being loyal customers because of you!
Shawarma wrap could be better
I have no idea how the food tastes because I never got the chance to try it. Their online hours say they’re open until 9pm on Sunday. Came in at 5:33pm and the 2 employees said “Sorry we’re close at 6pm”. I looked at the time and said “It’s 5:33pm” She seemed more confused than I was at my pointing out the difference in time but she responded “Yeah, we need time to clean up”. The floors were already clean, they had a wet floor sign up right inside the front door-seemingly to block people from coming in? The grills seemed to be turned off. Only pointing this out because they clearly didn’t just start their cleaning procedures at 5:30, they had been “closing” the restaurant for quite some time. I was astonished and asked for a business card, I said “wow, I can’t imagine the owner would be happy that you refuse to serve customers and that instead of making money while open, they’re just paying you to be here cleaning”. Her response “We do this all the time”.
The food probably tastes good; but I can’t imagine this business will be here for long considering the lack of profitability and apparently management oversight.
This place is about as hit or miss a restaurant there is. Literally, every other time I've eaten here its been kind of bad. When it's good, it's really good. That's what makes me go back. But when it's bad, the meat is burned, the rice is hard and the "dining room" is hot. Never seems to be air conditioned. There's no water. I think they just are too cheap to give you a free cup.
Family run spot that added to my experience. Service was great and food was tasty. Spicy hummus was so good! Had the combo plate. Will be a returning customer.
Great meditarean food with a great service.
