Shows as open and did an order on GrubHub for pickup but location is closed and all signs removed, no note on the door, phone is disconnected and website offline
AS OF DECEMBER 2023 - THIS LOCATION IS CLOSED. Stopped here for a late lunch with my SO. We ate inside as it was a bit cool for their outside tables (which are fine on a warm day). We had the Double-Play Lobstah Rolls. Two sandwiches stuffed to the brim with fresh and tasty East Coast lobster (which has a flavor different from the West Coast). They have a good selection of beer on tap (including East Coast brews). Also had the clam chowder, very thick and tasty. Casual indoor or outdoor dining. Service was fast and efficient. It is a pricey lunch, but you do get what you pay for.
I search on Google looking for lobster roll and this place showed its open today until 9pm today, so I made a pick up order thru their website, and the transaction went smoothly and showed that I can pick up my order in 20 minutes, it took me 20 minutes to drive down to the restaurant, and by the time I get there the restaurant is not opened, then I have to drive another 2o minutes back without our lunch, they shoukd not accept any online orders if they're not opened, this is unacceptable also ridiculousness, the first time I made a order from this place and its the last time too.
Seems like they’re out of business. Came on Google recommendation and it said it was open. Windows papered over
I got fish n chips, it was OK. Not a lot of food and pretty expensive
The lobster roll was way too expensive for the small dollop of lobster it contained. It was probably a 65/35 bread to lobster ratio. The roll was nice and well toasted but there wasn't nearly enough lobster in there to be worth the $30. Flavor was fine and the fries were really good with a nice crunch.
Pretty decent fish and chips. Indoor and outdoor seating. Edit 10/12/23: Highly recommend the oysters and lobster rolls. Fresh and quite tasty! Overall, a great local Portola Valley restaurant.
They got tater tots too. Awesome
