One star for food, they forgot sauces for the to go order, food was cold, wait took longer than expected. N/a for service and atmosphere
Everything is excellent. The pizza and cheesecake were so good! The server was so nice to us.
Came in they never served me. Disappointed.
Me and my family just had dinner here this evening. It was our first time eating at Old Chicago Pizza. Our server was AWESOME and she was extremely NICE! We'll definitely be back soon!
Worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. server had no idea how to do his job and did not clean up any of our plates or give refills, barely got checked on and we ended up ordering desert to try to redeem the experience and order the cheesecake with wild berries only to wait 20 minutes to get cheesecake with no berries on it, when we spoke with a manager about our horrible experience he blamed the server and told us he would "straighten the server out" like a disappointed father rather than offer us any compensation. He also let us know he couldn't replace the cheesecake because the rest of it was still frozen. Absolutely terrible experience for my grandmothers birthday. Will never go back and do not recommend
We stopped by there because they were the only pizza place open past 9... We Loved it... Pizza and Calzone were delicious!!! A+
Went here a few weeks ago, it was great. But my second time a couple weeks ago was horrendous. Server barely checked on us. There was one point where two people were waiting to be seated and our server was sitting across the room in eyesight of the front door, she was on a laptop and I saw her look over, but she completely ignored them. Eventually one of them went to the doorway of the kitchen, asked for assistance, and he was ignored. He was there to pick up an online order and waited 20 minutes before someone even offered to help. Beyond that, my food was dry and overcooked. We were checked on, maybe 4 times by our server within the almost 2 hour span. We had to ask for our drinks to be refilled. Terrible experience, I will not be dining there again.
We love the Chicago thick pizza base and always try to make an excuse to go there. also the beer menu always has rotating options, so you get to try something new every time apart from the regulars. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian only pizza options, and you can ask to remove meat from items like nachos and make them veggie only
Pretty average. Not very busy at all (about 20% capacity) but took about 10 minutes to get a table and about 30 minutes to get food after ordering. Dont get the boneless wings as they are just something like Gordon Food Service chicken heated and tossed in some sauce. Pizza was pretty good. Pizza roll good. Spaghetti & meatballs good. Service friendly but for some reason hesitant to give water refills (would literally only fill 1 of 5 glasses and we'd have to ask each time. I had a beer and while I wouldn't have ordered another, as former food service staff...always ask if you can get them another since lots of margin on drinks and dessert...oh, and wasn't asked if we wanted dessert. I think some of this just comes down to training.
Good deep dish pizza and lots of different beer on tap
