My boyfriend lives right down the street of this bakery in Douglas Ave. I'm from Chicago. My boyfriend takes pride of the quality of food here so he got me to buy and spend 100 dollars of money from your bakery to share the food to my friends and family back in Chicago. However, for the past 3 orders, they've been messing up our orders. They used different bread for a breakfast sandwich we ordered and we were never told first about it. Then the 2nd time, the croissant were all burnt. Then the last one, I ordered 7 hamlets, but the 2 with bacon added. But they only made 2, so I had to wait longer for the other 5. I was the one who ordered so I'm pretty sure i would know how many hamlets i needed. I told the lady who rang me up all the unfortunate things that had happened with our orders and all she could say was, "Oh. Ok." Then, "Happy Friday. " in a sarcastic way. No apologies or anything. I am very disappointed and to think I have been spending so much money towards your bakery, it will stop now. You lost a customer.
Used my holiday coupon. I won a free breakfast sandwich, which I wasnt thrilled about....but ordered the "viking" to go. I ate it about a half hour after I got home and was really taken with it, it was DELICIOUS!
