Planned this restaurant for a nice family dinner out during our stay in the area on Sunday 3/24. Google hours listed it as open, the social media posts show them open for the season, and when I called to double check the phone recording also said it was open. We trusted the recording was correct. But, we arrived to find out it actually wasn't open. Everything was locked up. Other families were there also expecting to have dinner. Disappointing!
Great fried shrimp dinner..good service...great view. Can't wait to season re-opening.
Most things were marked off on the menu, leaving only two things to choose from. Shrimp, being one of them, I ordered it. When I got my food, they were overcooked, and you could tell they haven't changed their fry grease in a while. Food was priced reasonably but not the drinks. I ordered the shrimp two kids' meals, hot dogs, and nachos for an appetizer. I had two beer, and the wife had a magrita. Total came out to be 90 dollars after looking at the receipt drinks where 30 by themselves.
The staff are good and the food is ok, but if you are sitting up time the service is going to be slow because the kitchen is down stairs.
I'd like to give them 10 stars for atmosphere, nachos & steamed shrimp. Oh, and shots of Honey Jack!
