Unlitro is made from fruit from their younger vines and comes in a 1L size, which should be standard in our opinion. Sometimes, when wine is produced with little to no control, it can get a little wild and funky -- even "flawed". This can turn people off of natural wines but fear not, this is not that wine. Unlitro has a beautiful bright red fruit flavor, a little spice, and mouthwatering acidity. It's the summer red we can't quit. Enjoy with a caprese salad or homemade pizza.

She and her companion, Sergio, purchased a remote piece of land in 1965. Really remote--no road, no water, no electricity, and completely surrounded by woods. There, they raised their two children along with seven other adopted children. They hiked and played in the woods, got water from the well for drinking and bathing, and used candles for lighting once the sun went down. Eventually, they planted vines. When asked how she started winemaking, she said, "When the children went away, either you had to sell or you had to work, and I know wine since I was born. I am part of Valpolicella. I know how to make wine. It's just how to make soup. It's something of the family. You have a small kitchen at home, and you have a big kitchen downstairs, so I began to make wine in the most simple, natural way".

La Fuerza is the first Vermouth of the Andes, and is made from two varieties of grapes that grow at the foothills of the Andes Mountain range in Mendoza, Argentina’s premiere wine country. The Rojo (red), an expression of Malbec, and the Blanco (white), made with Torrontés grapes, are comprised of locally grown Andes botanicals, wine, and natural grape must. Over 40 hand-harvested botanicals are used, along with native plants all collected from the Andes foothills. The entire elaboration process -- from gathering plants, distillation, and bottling -- takes place in Mendoza. La Fuerza revitalizes the long history of vermouth in Argentina with a modern and forward-looking twist - made from Mendoza-grown grapes and herbs from the Andes. Earthy notes: mace, juniper, and star anise, with notes of peppermint and green tea. The finish has a touch of dried fruits and spice.
