O Fine Japanese Cuisine-Irvine

It was tasteless and the portion was very small, but it was extremely expensive. It was the worst chirashi bowl I've ever had, and it cost $60

Poor service, Sushi is good but every plate is a surprise. You can order the same plate/roll a week apart and get something completely different. No 2 chefs prepare anything even similar. Food delivery is very unprofessional. It's as if No one has ever worked in a restaurant before. Too bad, could be a great place. 1/14/24 update. Food is still average. Prices are very high. 2 people, 3 rolls, 1 order of sushi and 2 Miso soup, and 1 cucumber salad. $150. Plus tip. There is a sewer issue in front of these restaurants and the oder on top of fish is just nasty. Sorry but the Quail Hill management needs to fix this for all the the restaurants sakes. Sewer and eating don't mix. I will say service has improved. The young gentleman server taking orders speaks and communicates well. All orders were correct. 1 complaint I do have is the management did not ask a child playing a game on a tablet at the highest volume to either turn it off or use headphones. I'm spending close to $200 with tip and I expect atmosphere. This is not McDonald's or the Pizza place. Parents, where are your manners.

I previously posted a review for the Laguna Beach location based on our dine-in experiences, which I found to be better than one or two dine-in experiences at the Irvine location; however, I recently began ordering online for pick-up or delivery from both locations and have found the Irvine location to be superior. The quality of the pick-up and/or delivery orders are far superior to the pick-up or delivery orders I have received from the Laguna Beach location. After receiving several amazing pick-up and/or delivery orders from the Irvine location, I determined that this is the location that consistently provides not only amazing quality sushi; but also amazing service. The sushi at O Fine in Irvine is amazing. You cannot find better sushi than O Fine in Irvine. The quality and presentation is what makes this restaurant stand out. If you love sushi, you have to go to O Fine Sushi in Irvine or Laguna Beach. I can assure you, you will not be disappointed, particularly at the Irvine location.

Over priced. I live in QH but will never go there again. Used to he the spot but now terrible. Small portions over priced, no Love. Sushi is an experience and this place lost its flare. Never again!!!

Little pricey but good. Garlic edamame is a good appetizer.
