Such a shame to see an institution fall so far. Spent $100 on food that's now half the size of what it used to be. All we asked for were hot loukoumades - a family favorite for our college kids back for Spring Break and we never got them. Cashier was rude rude rude!
I've been coming to this Niko's location for many years now. I've only just realized I hadn't left a review. We order from the Montrose location about once a week, most weeks. My absolute fave is the Greek chicken salad. The dressing is perfect. It's a vibrant salad for a good price. I always get the regular size (which is the smaller size). And it's more than enough. Perfect for lunch. Love their pita, although sometimes the pita bread is undercooked (doughy). I used to eat their traditional gyro years back before I gave up beef. Delicious. They have a great selection. Their weekend breakfast is recommended. Service is usually friendly. Not always efficient, but no complaints. Parking: Free parking lot dedicated to Nikos. Some street parking surrounding the location. Kid-friendliness: Decent kids menu. Family-friendly environment.
Niko nikos is a Houston institution. The food is outstanding. Not sure how authentic it is but it’s effing delicious. Customer service is outstanding, I left my wallet there and they saved it with my all my belonging in tact. Dessert is the bomb too. Portion sizes are massive. You can’t go wrong here.
The food and service were really good. The restaurant is very cramped though, making for an uncomfortable experience.
Gyros were tasty and warm. Not too busy. Self service.
The good was relishes and the staff was very helpful with great recommendations.
