Went for lunch, great for vegan and Gluten Free choices. We had a dog with us and were seated in a perfect location, so that we were out of the way. All the staff were friendly and professional, our server Courtney was lovely, very helpful and friendly. Dietary restrictions: Good vegan and Gluten Free options

A delicious gluten free roast Turkey dinner and chocolate fudge cake. The staff were very knowledgeable and Becky, our server checked with the kitchen as to what I could eat. My husband enjoyed a prawn cocktail starter, scampi for his main and then jam sponge pudding for his puddings and he enjoyed it all. Initially, at 1:15 the service was very quick but as the place got busier we found that we were waiting for our desserts but overall it was a very pleasant meal. When a bus trip descends on your pub, even with prior notice and pre-ordering.... It's probably quite disconcerting, however, the staff managed admirably. As did the chef and kitchen staff producing an appetising 3 course lunch. We started with the crispy garlic mushrooms which were very tasty, I followed with the fish, chips and peas, my companion opted for the gammon steak, egg, chips and peas, both meals equally good. We both chose the chocolate fudge cake for dessert which was yummy. I managed to take pictures of starters and mains but had eaten the cake before realising I forgot to take a picture We accompanied our meal with a good Sauvignon Blanc and completed it with two coffees, all very acceptable, thank you.
