There are only a handful of authentic Chinese restaurants in this area. GOLDEN DRAGON is high on my list for great food. We usually go for Dimsum. Bring some friends and try a variety of Dimsum right off the carts. Dinner is good too. Give it a try.
if only i can put -10 for the service!!!!!!!!!!!!! The food was good but the service is a nightmare!!!! We were patiently waiting for our dimsum for more than “1 hour!”. The older guy (which is not our sever) was explaining that dimsum takes forever to make so it’s alright maybe something came up on the kitchen. Then they just realize at the end that dimsum wasn’t punched Our server “peter/cross eyed/nerd” which probably wasn’t his real name. Very aggressive, un-professional , don’t know how to serve, Needs to be fired for sure so this business can survive!!!!! shout out to the older server guy that was being professional!
The Service is so bad. Specially the server name Peter! We waited for our food 1hour late suddenly he said he forgot about it. And so arrogant telling as what do you want me to do about it. It sucks your letting people that kind of attitude working in the food industry.
Their hours online says closed at 9. We showed up a little before 8:30 with their “OPEN” sign on, as soon as we walked in, immediately greeted by a RUDE employee who said “NO!” And kept shaking her head pointing towards the door telling us to leave! NEVER AGAIN!! we should’ve walked out as soon as we saw how dirty the inside of this restaurant was.
I would give this place negative stars. The staff did not care about us at all, the only customers dining in. They ignored us and would rather be on their phones. When we left, we were ignored again. Then a staff chased us out the door, asking if they received a tip from us. We did leave an 18% tip despite us self-serving ourselves (getting takeout boxes and bags) and being ignored. I’ve never had a good experience from this place (eg. Previous dining experience: there was a cockroach on our table and a staff looked annoyed at us like it was no big deal). This place should cease to exist.
This place is good on both dim sum and regular hours. Fried shrimp dumplings is so good. Servers are very polite and kind.
Have been going there for years. Until Covid, the place was well-managed, well-kept and the service was friendly and efficient. The food is still quite good, but adult supervision seems to be missing. The place is looking rundown, and one male server in particular is surly while the others seem less than happy to be working there. My husband and I will continue going there but would be embarrassed to invite guests to join us.
