Tasty treats. Friendly service. Had to walk a little ways to find a spot to enjoy them. Saw a sign in there saying they are closing soon which will be a loss to the foodie community.
The hype is deserved. In my years, I've eaten hundreds (thousands?) of egg tarts and dozens of 'po'tots.' This bakery has the best Portuguese egg tart I've ever shoved into my tarthole... and their "regular" egg tart is top 3 all-time. All time meaning my life.
It located at most convenient spot. It Chinese bread is tasty but not excellent.
RIP the best egg tart spot in the city. IYKYK.
Absolutely incredible egg tarts. Still open as of 10/8, 4 for $11.
One of the best egg tarts in NYC. Been going here since I was a child and it's so sad to see them go. Have a wonderful retirement. It's been a long journey.
In my opinion they serve the best egg tarts in all of New York City. Crispy crust and soft egg tart middle. It’s the best! I am really sad this place will close on September 30th. They are retiring and will close for good. Thank you for serving the Flushing community
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sesame cookies. So buttery and delicious. It was sad to hear that they would be closing soon but they said they are retiring so best of luck to them.
July 2023: enjoyed being able to come back for another visit. Happy to see them still in business! Love their egg tarts and all the variations. They’re all great! March 2020: Unassuming and perfect. Only a couple of spots to sit and dine in. I got egg tarts to go, some Hong Kong style (more egg focused in flavor) and some Portuguese style (more creamy custard-like with flavors of vanilla and sweetness). Both delicious. Fantastic crust on both of them-rich flaky buttery. Cash only. Great hole in the wall spot. Right around the corner from nan Xiang xiao long bao for soup dumplings.
