New China

I was getting petrol at the Jet garage opposite and smelt the Chinese food on my way back to the car before I actually saw it or thought of it. This was one of those unplanned gems, found purely because I went out for fuel. I went over and upon seeing their 4* food hygiene, entered and placed an order. While waiting I was reading the menu and New China points out all food is freshly cooked and I was not disappointed. A basic order of chicken chow mein, and salt and pepper chips that went down well. I would completely agree, it was fresh and the chow mein was tasty and not greasy. The chips were also clearly freshly prepared and not refried. Portion size was also generous. I high recommend and will be returning. Vegetarian options: The salt and pepper chips were not over-seasoned or overfried. This was a very good dish

Our local Chinese for years until it gave me food poisoning from old, stale and undercooked food. Last time we will be going there thank you.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. In a little while ago we have ordered our dinner to collect. The owner (I guess) talked to us over the phone very rude. But I thought that’s ok he may be a Chinese person. When I have to order I clearly told him chicken chowmein for my son Needed with out beansprouts. He said ok at that time. When we brought food home son’s dish with beansprouts. I have called him and complained. Then he started to go at us and said that I never requested that! Nasty rude man. !!! We never ever going to order from New China at all again.

So much more expensive then other Chinese takeaway, daylight robbery. And the food isn't even great, the meat is very rubbery.
