Stopped by Nashville Coop before a Gophers game. The Texas Toast meal, at coop heat level, is my go to, with toast, chicken tenders, pickles, slaw, fries, and dipping sauce. Good heat on the chicken and the slaw helps cleanse your palate if you need it. I also ordered the mac and cheese. A very creamy mac and it was delicious! Great food, fast service, and a convenient location for all Gophers events!
Nashville Coop has great chicken with amazing seasoning. The chicken is always very juicy and has not overwhelming breading. The size of each piece of chicken is very satisfactory and offers a filling meal. The french fries are some of my favorites. Each meal comes with two sauce containers that are incredible. It is a creamy sauce that adds to the chicken or fries instead of taking away from the flavor. There is a variety of spice levels to select. You can purchase tenders, a sandwich, or a Texas toast meal. They also have sides of coleslaw and macaroni and cheese. In a separate occasion, I had the macaroni and cheese and didn't enjoy it much. It was very thick and bready and did not have a strong cheesy flavor.
Great Mac and Cheese, Very Friendly
It’s really good. No cap.
Food was good I still think cains is better, but I used to go for the kids meal which was about $7 and that filled me up, made the kids meal worth going to but now since they removed it I’ll probably just start going to cains again (The food is good I’m just a broke college kid lol)
Chicken sandwich is solid. It’s big it’s a good spice. I had no complaints.
Love the food here! Always fast service and never a bad trip.
I had high hopes, but overall this place was “okay.” Ultimately I was disappointed you are required to order the combo with drink, so it gets a little pricy quickly. I also didn’t like how the sandwich was just chicken strips, a bun, and the sauces & pickles I had to assemble myself. The chicken tenders were hard to keep into the bun. The sandwich itself was pretty good once I got the sauce ratio correctly. Fries were okay - good texture but could use more seasoning. Staff didn’t seem very friendly. The place was quiet with no music. Honestly felt bad for the staff. Maybe I’ll be back, but I’ll certainly keep looking for a better chicken sandwich.
Chicken was overcooked, the spice was all in a powder they put on after cooking and not part of the breading like legit spicy fried chicken. Probably the cheapest yet most expensive hormone laden chicken I've ever had. The fries made the meal edible, I can literally eat anything and any amount, this was the first time I've thrown away food in over 8 years. My coworker and I both had terrible experiences after if you know what I mean. Canes has better batter and quality of chicken. Do better, but college kids will eat anything
They provide halal chicken fillet. The choice of spice level is good. The seating arrangement is also good. During lunch time, it is very popular to the university students as the distance is very close to the University of Minnesota.
