The food was delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was good. I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling in the Charlotte area.

Stayed the weekend in Charlotte and we had no clue on what to eat. We googled NaNa Morrison's soul food. Im so glad we made this choice. The food we very good service was great. No long wait at all.

This has become a tradition when we are in town. We came on the right day, because the special of the day was jerk chicken. I must say as a Jamaican I am so glad they called it jerk and put their own spin on it. It was really good and had a very low spice level. The yams were great, the curry rice was made very well, and the dressing was a hit. I do wish they had a side of cranberry sauce maybe during the holiday season, but that’s just me. The fried chickens breading was both crunchy and seasoned so well. Last but certainly not least was the purple drink lol or kool-aide which definitely taste like the fun auntie made it. The prices are good, a great place to stay and eat or take on the go!

The first thing you need to know is the staff, especially Jeremiah , is so welcoming. He explained everything to us as it was our first time here. There are many options and everything looked great! The food we chose was excellent. The restaurant is in a nice area and very clean and well decorated. I highly recommend it!

I stopped by at lunch. Food was phenomenal. Service was great. Price was good. Little pricey but worth it. I will be back. Best Mac and cheese I have ever had. I got friend chicken and curry rice and it was all delicious.

I was sure that considering the portion size, this would be 2 meals. Even after I was ready to burst, I couldn't stop eating until it was almost gone. Stumbled to bed and collapsed. Stop making food taste so good, just kidding. Loved it and will come back.

Large plate 25.99 small portions

If yall ever crave some good old classic soul food then you need to come here! It is build your own meal style. My husband and I got the small platter which is $15.99 and honestly that is a steal!! For how much food you get one you plate. The food taste fresh, hot and seasoned! 10/10 recommend for people that want some classic homey food that is worth the drive and food for.

It’s very busy on Sundays. The wait wasn’t too long. I got the small plate, one pork chop, yams and mac & cheese, cornbread. Everything was good except for the mac& cheese. It was creamy and almost runny like mac & cheese from a box. At $17.31 this was a bit pricey. Most restaurants give you two pork chops at that price.
