Musashi Japanese Restaurant

The service here is great, both quick and friendly. The food is authentic and traditional. If you want Japanese food, this is where you get it. The food is reasonably priced, considering how good it tastes. I would definitely recommend as a family experience if you have older kids, as the small building would not accomodate for super loud noise. Dietary restrictions: If you are vegetarian or dairy free, their menu can accommodate for that naturally since a lot of their dishes do not have dairy. Also, since many dishes are rice-based, gluten intolerance may be accommodated for as well. If you have Celiac's though, I'd contact the restaurant since they do have wheat noodles in their ramen and I'm not sure if they have gluten free soy sauce.

This is my favorite place to get my Japanese comfort food fix. The ONLY Japanese restaurant in all of Charlotte. Let me say that again. This is the ONLY Japanese restaurant in Charlotte. End of story. I used to live in Japan and short of spending $1600 to get there this is it. When I need to feel like I want some of my Japanese comfort food this is where I go when I miss Japan more than anything. I really wish I could go here more often.
