Munchy Chicken Pitsea

The chicken is quite tasty, as well as their wings when they actually have stock, which is surprisingly rare considering this is supposed to be a chicken shop. I have been here on a number of occasions, around 12-1 pm and 4-5 pm each time; however, their chicken was hardly stocked, having to wait 15 minutes for them to be cooked on each visit. I understand not wanting to overcook your stock; however, PLEASE at least be stocked up for peak hours. This much should be a given, but it is clearly not. It was honestly laughable as I was expecting them to be stocked up for lunch over the weekend however they had no wings left! On a previous visit to here, when I asked if more chicken could be made or if specific pieces could be made after saying I didn't mind waiting at the time, I was shocked to see how unwilling they were! I nearly turned away, but I just thought this was ridiculous, honestly. After saying I wanted specific pieces as they only had one type left and only 3 pieces of chicken left, he eventually agreed to make more. It is just a shame because the chicken here is actually nice, and it is just very annoying having to wait on each visit for more to be made. So please try to stock up more for peak hours at least and try to be more accomodating towards requests

Do not eat here the place is very dirty

This used to be good until we used a delivery driver service which they obviously don’t vet and fail to deliver food as promised I called the establishment and he denied responsibility and said we had to ring just eat even when we got a message to ring the restaurant which he denied So if you think this is a good respectable restaurant please swerve

Food and service was really good

Been ordering from the Basildon branch for ages so when the Pitsea store opened was happy. However the last few weeks, they have been delivering food very late and lying on the phone. Ordered food at 6.32, 7.45 no sign of food. Called and they said the driver is out, they make food fresh to order and it will be with us in 15 mins. 8.10 still no sign of food. I called. Just wanted a yes or no to whether the food was with driver had a long winded answer. Finally got food. Pop corn chicken portion was much smaller than usual. Their food is delicious which is why we order but customer service needs to be improved. An update on the apps would be good to with regards to orders.

Chicken is literally turning brown from being sat there all day! If I want food I want it fresh especially chicken!!! Definitely won’t be eating here again and chips far too oily
