You can always gauge a restaurant by how good its reuben is. Mulligan's reuben did not disappoint. The food was great, freshly prepared, with a homemade from scratch taste. Friendly staff and a cozy local pub atmosphere. Make sure to try the house made potato chips and the Mile-High Snickers Pie! Delicious!
This visit was unacceptably awful. We were sat at a bar type table near the bar, which in itself wasn't awful, except most of the chairs were in dire need of replacement. Some were literally missing pieces of the cushion. It took an unusually long time to even get menus after we were seated. Again, not necessarily awful. But then, it took an extremely long time to get our food. This includes our appetizers and salads. Our buffalo chicken spring rolls were over cooked and the chicken in them did not taste very good. In the time we had to wait for our food, our drinks sat empty for a very long time before the server finally got us refills. Finally our meals arrived. One of our steaks was way overcooked, more medium well to well done when it was ordered medium rare. The flavor of the steaks were not great either. They were very bland. We never got a second refill of drinks. We literally ate half our meals with no beverage. Once our meals were delivered, our server did not stop by, or even walk by for us to get her attention even one time. After we finished our meals, we sat for, again, a long time before the server finally stopped by our table. When she stopped, she handed us our bill as she asked if we needed anything else. One of us wanted to order dessert, but didn't for fear of how much longer we'd have to wait. It's unfortunate how much we spent to have had such awful service and mediocre, at best, food. I want to clarify that we don't necessarily find this bad service the fault of the server as she was also the bartender. This, in my opinion, was a result of poor staffing and section assignment to servers and bartenders.
Amazing place. Great service and really good food. Definitely worth trying out .
This place was an excellent surprise. I always rate restaurants on their own merits & our experience there…Never in comparison to another. Our experience was great. French onion soup was awesome. Reuben and skinny, crispy fries were amazing! Decent prices. Service swift.
New to town and this place might become one of my favorites. If you serve meat, you should cook it to customers temperature expectations, but so few restaurants do this nowadays...when I said I want my burger rare they honored that request and the meat flavor stood for itself. The French onion soup starter was also delicious and had big chunks of stewed onions. The owner, Tom, is a nice guy and great to talk with...will make this a regular spot. Also, shout out to Autumn for great service and a strong pour!
We hadn’t been here in 2 years but came back since they didn’t have a wait on a Friday night. We started with the fried mushrooms which were excellent. My husband got the rib and chicken dinner. That was pretty good. I got the pasta and shrimp with a white wine sauce. The pasta dish was extremely bland. The shrimp tasted fishy and were so rubbery it was difficult to cut them. I got Alfredo sauce (which tasted like a gravy base) to attempt to salvage the dish but ended up only making it through a couple bites. Our server didn’t check in about the food until I had been sitting there for 15 minutes without eating and never refilled our waters. I’m not sure where the quality and service of this restaurant went.
We had a large party for a graduation party. All the food was excellent! Service was excellent! Highly recommend! Thank you! Parking: The salmon, tuna and steak were all excellent! The salads were an excellent mixed greens.
