After years of working at local Thai restaurants chef Char decided to open Mother Clucker ATX as a tribute to his beloved mother, Madam Chongchitmate. Every dish is special and contains his early memories of learning to cook alongside Madam. While Madam Chongchitmate may appear sweet and caring to outsiders, inside the kitchen she adopts a Tiger Mom persona. Her approach to cooking is meticulous, especially when it comes to boiling the chicken for Kao Mun Gai which takes an entire morning.
