Good food and lovely staff!

I asked for take away box for our unfinished meals but was told i could not get it because one of our take away meals was a free kids meal you get with adults meal. And he said you can't take away a free meal. So it's better for you to waste food and throw it in the bin ?

Visited today 4/1/24 around 1.30 service was not good we waited 30 mins for our food and had to ask how long. Staff were running round like ants and all the tables were full of dirty plates.There was hardly any cutlery and no teaspoons. There was food on the floor which was cleaned up after a customer pointed it out to a staff member. So disappointing as it used to be such a lovely cafe, we shall not be visiting again.

Absolutely shocking been coming here for years and it always has been great . But today, the service was awful . The lady on the till was so rude and when an item was missing from out order she told us we were wrong and that that item was not order even though my daughter was sat eating the rest of the meal deal box and just wanted her toasties. She then came back and slammed the toasties on the table. Then, when we asked for sauce, she huffed and again slammed it on the table . There was no cutlery on the stand, and the staff were shouting at each other over it in front of the customers . The cafe was filthy every table full . I have worked in the food industry myself for year and I understand the pressure when you get a mad rush but it still doesn't excuse not acting professionally and being polite.

Whilst the quality of the food is good and reasonably priced. There didn't seem to be enough staff on to clear and clean tables. The automated ordering service is just awful and hasn't been thought through. People could walk in select a number and help themselves to a free hot drink just by collecting a mug at the counter! Come on Morrisons! Think Also no provision made for people who want to pay with cash!!

A gentleman that brought our food out to us always happy with exceptional service even through busy periods and stressful customers still cracks on and greets everyone perfectly, he needs a pay rise or promotion, get it done Morrisons staff like this need rewarding and keeping hold of.

Lovely place to have a nice drink and relax. Great choice from the menu. Kids also eat free with an adult having a meal. Friendly helpful staff. Very good deal. A must try when you next visit morrisons.
