Moose Family Center

For almost 100 years, the Moose Family Center has provided service to the greater Stevens Point area. A charter was originally granted to the Moose Lodge 1572 on June 24, 1918, and the Women of the Moose was granted a charter on June 16, 1919 as Chapter 311. The lodge gained the designation as the Moose Family Center 1572 in the early 1990s. The club’s main focus is to support Mooseheart, a residential childcare facility for youth whose families are unable to care for them. While Mooseheart is located near Chicago and ran by Moose International, Moose Family Center 1572 also works with local area children as well as others in need.
