Miyabi Sushi

I order or sit at Miyabi almost every week. Everything I have ever ordered always tastes and looks amazing in my opinion. Everyone is always friendly and I love how they remember my face now, so whenever I come in they bring me my food instantly when it’s ready. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for quality sushi, hibachi and etc.

My wife and I go here frequently and have ordered delivery/takeout many times as well. The food has always met and even exceeded expectations at times, with the sushi taking the spotlight. Their fish is fantastic. The service (host, server, delivery driver) has always been excellent, with the staff being professional and kind. We also enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant itself, with the quiet starkly contrasting the busy street outside and music playing at a gentle, pleasant volume in the background. We will keep going here for the foreseeable future.

If I could give them, no stars, I wouldz ordered through DoorDash. They use their own driver. It took two hours for the food to arrive. I had to call the restaurant four times and was told that they just had a lot of deliveries that night. Still didn’t get my food after two hours when I called again, was been told that my phone number that I use all the time didn’t work, I was told that they would be bringing my food and they should be there in 10 minutes, it took 20, and I had to meet him outside. Wouldn’t recommend even if the food was good. For a meal that was almost $100. You would think that the person answering the phone and the driver would be interested in actually getting it to us while it was hot and within a reasonable amount of time seeing as though the restaurant is up the street from my home.

The best sushi I have had.

Ordered delivery on a Thursday evening. Ordered the Naruto, Philly, spicy tuna, sweet potato, and wasabi rolls. All were absolutely delicious, the fish is so fresh and tasty. The delivery was super fast. Awesome menu. The Naruto was my favorite!

Best little sushi place in town that doesn't break the bank. The food is fresh and delicious, and if you spend $40, you get free sake.

Miyabi is my Goldilocks sushi spot. In many cases if you're getting a decent price for sushi the quality and serving size will be reduced. If reviews say that a place has amazing sushi, the price point tends to be high. Miyabi strikes the perfect balance of affordability without sacrificing quality. Idk how they're doing it, while other spots seem to either over charge or under deliver, but I have to assume that as they've done with me, they're converting Richmonders to Miyabi stans. I won't go anywhere else in RVA for sushi at this point. They have an excellent lunch deal, although I haven't had the opportunity to try it yet.
