Customer dealing is ok but food not good, had a pizza, never recommend to any one very disappointed .

I feel sad to leave such a negative review having recently moved into the area and initially thought their chips were excellent. However we returned last night for full suppers and sadly I have to report that the fish was pretty much the worst I have ever had from a fish & chips shop in my entire life. It was so bad in fact, that I'd almost recommend getting yourself down there and ordering it at least once, just so you can experience it for yourself, given how bizarre it is. I couldn't say for sure but I genuinely don't think the fish was even fresh to begin with. I suspect they probably defrosted a number of thin Pollock fillets and then put them in the fryer. However, having said that, I'm not even sure a fryer was involved because the batter was like some chewy rubber, surrounding the incredibly thin slither of fish inside. You try to take a bite but then realise you have to tug at the batter just to get a piece to break off! It was really amazing - the closest thing I can compare this to is one of those 1980s chewy Wham! bars which you practically had to lose your teeth attempting to break a piece off... Honestly, the more I think about it the more I really recommend you check this fish out - It's really kind of hilarious!
