A typical place where every few years management and staff changes. Right now, food is really good and service up to a task. Not a great option of ALE's and IPA's and you might bump Into an Utd fan that supports a City on the night but nice place to visit
We were indecisive for where to eat fory wife's birthday and chose the Milton Arms and boy are we glad we did. Immediately welcomed by warm and friendly staff (Lee and Chelsea) and we ordered main meals and drinks and then a desert. Everything was perfect from food to atmosphere and enjoyed it very much. We will be regulars going forward. Huge thanks to Lee and Chelsea for making it so enjoyable. Ps don't let the Horseshoe donut leave the menu.
We had lunch here a few days ago, and the food was excellent.
Lovely staff very helpful and welcoming couldn't ask for any more. Parking: There is loads of parking.
I’ll start with a positive. The bourbon sticky toffee pudding was fabulous - the best ever. The staff were friendly and helpful. However ! I decided to treat myself and have the 8oz steak - it was virtually inedible. I struggled to cut it even with a steak knife. I mentioned this to the waitress who told me that several people had complained about the steak in the last few days and blamed their supplier. There was no offer of any compensation - free dessert or drink and I left very dissatisfied. Sorry but I’m not sure we’ll be back.
The service leaves a lot to be desired. Either they are short staffed or they are colour blind. Parking: Quite good
